Hello!
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work with children. My favorite movies have always been the Sound of Music and Mary Poppins and I have always had a strong desire to add magic into the lives of people around me.
Photography is one way I can do that. I love to freeze moments in time for others. I love knowing that one day the children I photograph will look back at my photography as adults in pure disbelief that they were ever that person. I love that they will get to witness how little they were… how sweet, how silly, and how loved they truly were. The best thing about my job is getting to watch families grow and transform; from a loving expecting couple to proud new parents, from a baby to a big brother, from a family of three to a family of four. I would love the chance to meet your family!

Megan is quick to build rapport and trust with kids and then sits back and quietly captures real moments with true emotion. You'll see pictures of your kids hamming it up and posing, and then without them even knowing, Megan snaps a picture capturing the smile, or the frown, or the curious look that you'll instantly recognize and cherish having. One of my favorite pictures of my baby boy and me is one that I had no idea she was taking, and I wasn't even supposed to be in the pictures for that session! She has a photojournalistic eye. She is awesome to work with, and even better, she gave us pictures we love looking at again and again. – Moana Hoffman

My kids are crazy hard to get photographs of at this age (7-3). Megan has the patience to wait for when they are ready, and the go-with-it attitude needed to capture their personality just the way it is. When I got engaged I wasn't sure if we would take engagement photos, but we did need a photo to use for our engagement announcement My fiance Chris had refused to do them after seeing other friends photos in the past, but I showed him examples Owls Eye Photography work and we decided to give it a try. These were the first professional photos we had ever had taken together and even though we were nervous Megan made us feel very comfortable and we ended up having fun. She gave us lots of suggestions before and during the session, but also allowed us feel in control and make the photos what we wanted them to be. Before we knew it the session was over, AND we had all these beautiful photos that we LOVE as well as a perfect photos for our engagement announcement and save-the-dates! – Jessica Notghi

Wow, this year flew by! I cannot believe it was only a little more than a year ago that I met Amanda & Dane at Kruger’s farm for their maternity session (see it over here!). Here we are a year later with their ONE-year-old little man Chase. It has been so much fun to watch him grow!
